Area Sales Engineer

We are looking for experienced Sales Engineer into company, which is leading worldwide provider of filtration systems and replacement parts.

Key responsibilities will be to:
- Maximising sales turnover and profitability
- Identify and understand end user application needs
- Conduct market research and look to uncover potential for future products through on-going visits to customers and potential customers, as well as end users
- Market mapping and identifying key customers
- Utilise current Donaldson network to open new revenue streams with existing accounts
- Ensure that all commercial aspects of sales transaction are in the best interest of the company

YOUR PROFILE:
The successful Area Sales Engineer will be a proven self-starter with the confidence and entrepreneurial flair to work in an autonomous role. You will be communicating regularly with Directors to operators, in both a technical and commercial capacity.

- Experience in a technical sales role or appreciation of technical products in a commercial environment selling into the process industries
- Experience of selling filtration medium or allied products into the Food & Beverage sector
- Have an understanding of the application of products and the feature/benefits of the service
-Ideally educated to degree level, preferably within Chemical Engineering or Food Science
